Purchased after reading a few positive reviews of pairing this with an Alienware m15 r1. I found that the paste is pretty regular looking and feels the same to work with as most other thermal paste. I saw temps drop 5-10 degrees Celsius for the processor and 10-15 degrees Celsius for the graphics chip. I purchased this laptop brand new and repasted it after 1 day of benching the factory thermal paste. This sh-t is totally worth it. 1g more than enough for 2-3 systems.

that being said, it doesnt drop temps THAT drastically but even a few degrees is way better than nothing. I used the little spatula with a small amount of paste to get an even coat over the whole surface of the cpu and then applied a small dot of extra paste on the middle of the cpu to let the heatsink spread it under pressure. seems to have worked well since my temps went from 65C under load down to 60C max. idles around 40C now. if you cant find noctua nht2 at a good price then this is a great contender! too bad it can get too pricey.

I build PC's as a hobby and have primarily used Arctic silver's mx4. While I've always been satisfied with mx4, I wanted to see what all the fuss was about with thermal grizzly's TIM and I was not disappointed. So far it has kept my fx8300 under 40° C under load (before it would hover around 50°, I have a well ventilated case) with the stock cooler and my r9-290 saw the most thermal improvement. Once the thermal paste "settled" it went from 75-80°C down to 65-68°C under full load. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase and my only regret is not ordering a bigger tube but from here on out I will probably stick with thermal grizzly's kryonaut.

This is a great product. Do not believe me. Check the several Internet pages that put Thermal Gizzly Kryonaut to the test along with other products. For example, check the Overclockers Guide article "Thermal Paste Roundup 2015 – 47 products tested with air-cooling and liquid nitrogen (LN2)," which compares 47 similar products. And, it can be had for a reasonable price.

I've been using artic silver for ages - while it gets the job done I have a Lenovo Thinkpad W520 that would throw fits if asked to render 1080P 60 frame video - so before writing this laptop off as being simply too old for the task, I figured i'd try some of this stuff the Kyronaut Grizzly. I can report it is easy to apply, and works great ! My CPU idle temperatures were 53C, and now are 46C. Most importantly this laptop can now render 1080P 60 frame video and even play 4K video with immediately throwing a fit! I'm not a gamer here but it is obvious this stuff works very well and I'd recommend it .
