The 77mm Tiffen variable ND filter is easy to use and works very well. Made a big improvement when using it for video. The darkest setting is not very useful due to severe colour casting. Saying that, for the price it is more than adequate. I'm very happy with the product.

I use this primarily for video and i love that i can shoot wide open in the middle of the day. I havent experienced the x everyone talks about the optics are great no color shift and its sharp no loss of quality. The filter is well built and smooth to turn

Very happy with this ND filter. Does a great job. Clarity and color aren’t any issues. They only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is it NEEDS stops. If you dial it in past the darkest or lightest settings you get an X across the filter. Only way of knowing your settings is the look at the filter as you’re adjusting it. Other than that. Love it

Excellent Filter. If you work on high lights environment, this filter is for you! I work on the beach, fields, open water and really bright areas with lots of light and sometimes on ISO100 and 1/8000 speed I have to close the diaphragm all the way to 5.6 or smaller. Forcing the depth of field to be huge. With this filters I can take advantage of going to apertures of f/1.8 and less. Great filter for the money great value.
This is a decent entry level variable Nd. There’s a noticeable blue tint from 4-8 stops. However, I shoot in raw so I’m able to grad around the color shift. I also noticed a slight IR shift, but that’s intrinsic to all Nd’s. Gets the job done, but I would go for a higher quality if shooting for professional work.
