It's a brand new ZIF 30 GB Hard disk drive as seller descripte. It's worked good , also come with cable as mentioned, the Price of this hardisk is Neutral, because it's hard to find a brand new, ( new one last longer ), also this 30GB is small for these day Operating System but it's good for test the laptop or good for Ipod, Zune etc...If it's a little bigger space will be much better, 40GB, 60GB ...etc ... Toshiba made a good product for this type, better than other brand and Toshiba became standard for ZIF Disk Drive .Only ONE PROBLEM : You need to know how to attach the small flat cable ( ZIF connector ). It's not difficult, but must connect very carefully, if bad connect then not only the ZIF hard disk drive Do not work, IT'S WILL BURN THE CONNECTOR VERY EASY. If burned, it's dead, useless ! So think again if you want to buy one, ask someone or check the internet about ZIF connector .Read full review
Put this in my 30gb Halo 3 edition Zune and the difference was instantly recognizable. Runs quietly and smoothly, plus seems to slightly speed up the navigation of the device. Excellent buy, would purchase again but not going to need one for a long time :)

It's a perfect replacement and works flawlessly. It fits perfectly into the Zune's housing and accepted the zip-cable fine. I've had no issues with it so far. I believe this hard drive will fit in some iPods too, but double-check to make sure. I needed to replace my original Zune 30 HDD because it started giving me errors and eventually failed on me. The price was decent-- seeing as though buying a used Zune 30 would have set me back by more than double the cost of this HDD alone.
I'm sorry, I don't speek English enough. I can say only one - I need this one for my asus eee pc. SSD drive in 900th model is not good and very slow. This hard drive got out me for many problem with speed my netbook, and I bought second drive too for move my data between some computers. I will buy this one if I need this. Thanks for read this. I had an HP Mini laptop with a failing 80GB drive but did not want to spend over $100 to replace it, plus the pain of re-installing the OS. So this little 30GB drive was the perfect inexpensive fix as I did not need storage, I just needed room for an OS and a few files. I think these type drives are mainly for iPods but it is performing perfectly in the HP mini laptop.(two weeks now) It arrived quickly and in a sealed anti-static bag. I am very happy with this item!
