This device is a little engine that can. Its form factor is very small for having 250 GB storage. If you buy one of these for a laptop make sure that you have appropriate connector either with laptop or hard drive. HP initially sold these with the connectors especially for the HP Elitebook 2740p's, thereafter discontinued including the connector. The connector is challenging to find or the price is high. The drive is ment to stand shock impact within the laptop with appropriate enclosures. If your computer has drive lock software it prevents your drive from crashing, instead its protected from shock. I give this drive a strong rating for durability and resistance. 1-10 Toshiba made this an 8.5. Features not available for this drive were obviously a hybrid memory system.
