PRO: I've never owned Yamaha brand equipment. I would certainly buy again. this systems seemed to be very powerful and had NO TROUBLE driving my 200 watt speakers to perfection. it even made my Bose seem more lively then I've ever heard them. all sound ranges from quite to rattle the windows seemed to transition perfect. it has plenty of amperage to drive any speakers. I have 8 speakers (includes surround and zoneB)hooked to it with no problems. one thing I did notice was a smell of hot metal when cranked but the unit felt cool, just for the sake of it I place a a/c fan on top of unit when attempting to loose my hearing (IT ROCKS). I was probably burning off paint. it even sounded better at low volume. Con: remote seems made for small hands. I use my palm and thumb when operating a remote. this one I have to hunt and peck with two fingers. for instance to change DSP sound you have to hit a dsp button at top left and then a number key. with very small writing mid way - remote is long (9-inch) and thin (1-inch) but it's not used that much.Read full review
I purchased this unit and found the company to be an excellent company to do business with. I highly recommend the company.
Verified purchase: Yes | Condition: Pre-owned
Now that HDMI is out this Yamaha is being retired to the spare bedroom. It was a great unit for the last 7 years.
