I was looking for some filament that had good reviews and didn't cost too much, just in case it turned out to be a dud. So I bought some white filament on sale and finally got around to using it and I'm definitely impressed. My prints are coming out so smooth. My prints seem to be coming out as good if not better than some of the prints that I've seen online from higher priced filaments. I was getting decent but not perfect prints in the beginning, mostly on parts that were curved. The problem turned out to be the belt under the heat bed not the filament. Somehow I forgot I hadn't completely tightened it during setup. After tightening, my prints have been great! PRO: Good price for the quality of filament. Good adhesion between layers. Current temp settings on my Anet A8 is 197°F with a layer hight of .2mm. Minimal if any stringing at this temp. CON: The large diameter hole in the center of the filament spool is quite large. So if you plan to let the printer pull freely, expect to have a few imperfections in your prints. How I manage to get flawless prints at the moment is to manually spin the spool on the treaded rod every few minutes to make sure their is slack in the line so the extruder isn't struggling to pull the filament. Obviously this isn't a long term setup, so be aware you will need to print a spool holder or outfit it with a large PVC pipe so that it can rotate the spool more freely.Read full review

This PLA filament came in sealed plastic bag with descant in it.,,, Opened and put right to work on my 3D printer. The PLA failed on the very first print. Found that it was so wet that it could not print. Put it in a dehydrator at 145 F for 24 hours. Tried to print again, Total failure,,, after printing for an hour it again started printing like totally wet. I have run many rolls of filament through my printer and never ran into this before. I do not believe that it is worth the trouble to send it back. Picture -- items on left previously printed, items on right what this roll of filament printed right of box.

New to 3D printing, I needed to stock up on filament colors and types. When I saw the word "ceramic" in the title, I thought for sure this would be one of the "real" ceramic filaments. Not so, this is plain PLA, but it is white. Other than the disappointment in not getting what I thought I was buying (my own fault), this is excellent material. It's fairly fuss free. When another brand/color isn't working right, I switch over to this ZYLtech "ceramic" white PLA filament to see if it's a problem with the model, the printer, or the filament. Most times it turns out the other filament has an issue. This provides consistently clean and solid prints.

The filament is really easy to print with. I'd like to see caps on the hub for smaller spool holders but otherwise awesome. I'm printing at 190c with a 4mm nozzle and it's printing smooth and clean. I'll definitely try more colors from this brand.

I'm new to 3D printing, so consider that as you read on.... I've only tried a few brands of filament, but this seems to be as good as any of the others, and it costs less than the others I've tried. I was so impressed, I ordered additional rolls of green and black.
