She promptly refunded part of my shipping cost when it ended up being less, the item was packaged very carefully and was in exactly the described condition as the listing. Since I don’t have the correct kind of battery in the house I do not know if it does in fact work yet. I am trusting based on my positive experience that it will though.   Sorry for my tardy review. The towels / washcloths are as pictured - they are brand new as advertised. Well new but from back in the day when things were made well and prices weren't like these days. They're lovely, qood quality workmanship.
