About us

I've been sewing since I was 14 and as hard as that is to admit, that was over 30 years ago! Now I sew... clothing and purses and everything else, I embroider by hand and by machine, I knit, I crochet, I cross stitch, I paint, I decorate with my creations and I love sharing all my creations and other vintage creations with you!
One of my shop sections is Vintage Doilies. I remember learning and helping my grandmother to hand wash, freshly starch, iron and shape her doilies before company came and that is exactly what I do with these doilies. It is a lost art and so rewarding to turn a floppy fifty-year-old piece of hand crocheted or even hand tatted lace back into the perfectly shaped and nicely starched piece of art that the original maker intended it to be!

However, upon arrival, the box had a large hole in it & corners dented way in. 2 of the pieces were broken. The seller offered a refund that I declined.
