I recently found out my grandad was a 50 Middle-East Commando and was a part of the mission on Kastellorizo (where wounded), caught on Crete as part of Layforce and then a POW in Hohenfels Bavaria until the end of war... I am hoping to understand more about the Middle East commandos from the book and Colonel George Young's contribution to the content.
