Dashing Dan Model Train Emporium has always been a value based source for the discriminating hobbyist. We offer mostly used, sometimes distressed model trains at exceptional pricing and service. We are quick to resolve any issues and always offer combined shipping when possible. We depend on your trained eye to determine the value of an item when bidding, we are more purveyors than true hobbyist so your input is always valued. Items marked as very good or better are generally very sound. I try to adhere to TCA values, thus something marked “good” may have some rust or paint loss. Most everything is listed and explained in the description.
We are now offering Die Cast products, Clothing, Electronics, Sporting Goods, Household items, Toys and some Personal Items. Most all will be used and some in varying stages of fortune. These items will be marketed as Side of the Tracks - Underground Vintage and we will adhere to the same high standards in customer satisfaction.

    The item was as described, and I had excellent communications with the seller, the item was well packaged for regular USPS shipping time but being USPS bounced it around for 11 days the item had some damage when it arrived, this was in know way was any fault of Dan's. He did help me with the damage, which I appreciated. He is one of the better sellers I've dealt with and I would buy from him again.

    This steam locomotive was very well packed to prevent damage. It arrived totally complete I am super pleased. It was as described used, but I have to say I could not find one speck of lint, dirt, dust, pet hair, the wheels looked as though they had never seen track with the sheen of all of them, nothing that says it was not new except it was missing the box. This was an excellent value in the total costs to include shipping. I will place this seller on my saved listing!!. Recommend Seller

    The seller's posting claimed the item was NIB, which appeared to be correct; but when I opened the box a part that should have been attached was clearly missing. Visually, it seemed clear that the problem originated with the manufacturer, so the seller could not have known. Regardless, this seller responded immediately when messaged and refunded price and shipping before I could even make such a request. 100% approval means 100% for DashingDan!
