About us

Frances Shoppe sells vintage and contemporary jewelry, women's contemporary and vintage better brand and designer clothing (misses, plus and petite sizes), and curated vintage and contemporary home goods and collectables. Come back often! There is always something new in store.

Who is Frances? The original Frances Shoppe was located in Brooklyn, NY in the 50's, 60's and 70's and was run by my husband's family. Frances was his aunt and her father named the store after her. It was my husband's idea to name this store as an homage and I think it was a good one. Quality and good customer service never go out of style. The original Frances Shoppe set the bar high and I have a lot to live up to! I am always excited to share my latest finds with you.

    Firstly: the packing on this one was literally the best I've ever seen from an eBay seller. Several layers of tissue paper, inside a plastic bag, inside a bubble package. The item was exactly as described and fits like a dream! I appreciate it when eBay sellers take such great care to make sure things are shipped securely.

    I don’t know how this seller creates posts. This item was listed as a Jeanne Englehart dress. The photos in the post included pictures of tags in a dress. What was received was not a JE dress and there were no sewn in tags. The seller was good and paid for return shipping and refunded all expenses. I don’t appreciate the amount of time I had to take in repacking this and getting it to post office because the seller posted false information.
