Many people do not like buying a refurbished computer - could be dusty, smelly etc. However reality shows that NEW is not BETTER and after 2-3 years it looses 40-60% of its original paid value. Also, used, without movable parts electronics that is 3-7 years old has a greater chance of lasting 7 years more than new items. Planned Obsolescence plays nice role when your new device breaks 1-2 months right after warranty period - so that you could buy NEW ONE.

Buying used refurbished electronics is like buying a used car but better - movable parts (cooling fans) are extreamly cheap.

Choices are :

1) BUY NEW - not here....
2) Buy used with high budget and best performance metrics and aim for 3-5 years performance
3) Buy used with low budget and OK performance metrics and upgrade components later (if ever needed).

I'm the 3rd option guy, do 80% of my work on computers with Intel I5-4th gen CPUs, game on Intel I7-8th gen & Ryzen 7 1700 CPU.

Low cost, long usability. No need for NEW.

    I unfortunately got unlucky on the delivery, the box had gone through some pretty big impacts, the GPU had broken off its hinges and screws, the computer case was a little bit banged up. Fortunately, KZ was quick to respond, and offered me every option to solve my issues : if it doesn't work at all, send back for a full reimbursment, if some parts don't work, he'd send replacement for free, if it did work, he'd send a partial reimbursment. Good service, no stress, he's available to help 100%

    The packaging was ok and it arrived intact. Service from the seller was excellent and exceeded expectations. There was a problem with the Canada Post delivery and he worked with me in filing claims with Canada Post from both ends and I eventually received my delivery. Also, while the computer was generally functional, after testing, there were problems with the graphics card and the motherboard sound. I was given a partial refund for the non-functional items. Excellent communication and service.
