it was exactly as it was described. Very cosmetic as stated in the posting. Battery will need replacing sometime soon (about 57% life) but that was expected for a 7yr old MB Air. Came w/ Monterey OS installed & had no issues after I charged up the battery. It was exactly what I wanted--a cheaply priced but working, "first Macbook" to learn and figure out how to fix/upgrade/work the laptop (always been a Windows user).
