    Barrels are cast plaster/hydrocal, but it says that in the description. I was looking for inexpensive items and I ordered these. MUCH better than expected, with very fine engraved details - better than some plastic ones, and even better than some really low definition printed ones at higher prices (also vendor is local so postage was cheap). Recommended if you don't mind working with plaster castings.
