Did clean the flashlight with alcohol- some oxidized blood and black permanent marker came off thanks to that. The metal buckle handle was "Renovated" with permanent black marker to make it look newer. No idea why, as this Vietnam era flashlight looks perfect in its vintage, worn natural state IMHO.
