About us

Refurbit began as a council-owned department managing IT recycling for schools and public services across Hull and Yorkshire. Now a registered charity, we operate from a 6,000 sq ft warehouse, focusing on cost-effective IT solutions and sustainable recycling. Our mission is to promote the reuse and recycling of WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) to reduce landfill waste and provide financial relief by donating refurbished IT equipment to those in need.

We specialize in free IT collections, WEEE recycling, and secure data destruction, serving businesses, schools, charities, and individuals across Hull, Yorkshire, and nationwide. Our commitment to sustainability, security, and exceptional service ensures electronics are recycled responsibly, and data is handled with care.     I'm happy enough with the purchase Although the photos could have been more detailed, it's down to the buyer to ask questions if they feel more information is required. The purchase was well packed and arrived promptly. I felt the asking price was steep but the Seller accepted an offer, which was fine.

    Very well packed. Accurate description. Unfortunately, the item was somehow faulty but I've got a full refund and REFURBIT told me I didn't have to send the item back. This way I could save the return cost. This is what I call trusting the buyer. Thank you! I'd like to add something about Refurbit. They help other people and they also protect our environment, while refurbishing or recycling old electronic stuff. So hooray for them. Keep up the good work.
