About us

I am the great-granddaughter of a Pennsylvania-Dutch auctioneer whose mother grew up working in the action house and instilled in me the love of treasure hunting! I remember waking up before the sun to join her yard-saleing all through the 80's. As an adult that thrill of the hunt turned into collecting treasures on Chicago's beaches during my 12 years as a proud resident. After my mother's death I left Chicago to support my elderly father and got my start on eBay selling our things as lives and homes merged. I began creating art with my Chicago treasures as a way to grieve the loss of my beloved beaches. You can find all sorts of things here - from vintage decor and appliances to hand-crafted one of a kind artisan pieces of beach glass art! This eBay store is mostly a side-hustle as I pursue a career as a death doula and hospice chaplain - and a great outlet for my love of treasure hunting!
