This year ECM was notorious for failures, and was a transition device between OBD1 and OBD2. I sorted through every possible external cause, using the FSM, and it all pointed to the ECM. Shipping was fast, and I also ordered a PROM. Pure plug, play, and drive. Outstanding service and value.
