More info is needed as to which machine heads these will work on (Grover, Schaeller, Hipshot, etc..). They were going to be used on my Ibanez [OEM tuners] and they are too small [shaftsize] so now, they are on my Les Paul [Grovers] and work ok.Read full review...

Modern look
Got these to modernize the look of the tuners on a modern styled metal guitar, that should have come with these in the first place. There is less knob here than with standard sized knobs, and I initially thought that the smaller diameter would make tuning accuracy more difficult and eat up more time. But these work great with 18:1 ratio tuners, and I didn't notice any leveraging issues... like these were designed specifically to match. I actually found it EASIER to tune with these , since larger knobs on higher ratio tuners are cumbersome . String winders won't work here, but with locking tuners it's not going to matter anyway. I purchased these knobs to go on Grover tuners, and verify the manufacturers claim as such. No disappointments here!Read full review...
