Excellent outdoor camera, do not use indoors
I've owned this camera for 2 years. It takes incredible pictures outside! It is however, the worst camera for indoor photography. I don't know if it's the camera or just a poor choice by Sony to use only 2 AA batteries, but it can take up to 15 seconds to recycle after the first picture indoors using the flash. I'm using the Sony rechargeable batteries, the are better than all others, I've tried lots, and a lot better than disposable batteries, but it still takes way too long to take more than one picture indoors. The camera appears to have the option to support an external battery or perhaps an AC power connection, but I haven't been able to find one. Maybe this would help?? Only buy this camera if you plan on doing the vast majority of your pictures outdoors. In that environment it excels and well worth the price.Read full review...
Product Evaluation Used Sony Digital Camera
This item was priced right and included nearly all of the original package.
I have been familiar with this product and considered it a bargain.
This product new would cost nearly 3 times the cost I paid used. If I was to use this product to make a living, I am sure I would have spent the amount necessary to buy new to obtain a warranty.
I bought to use on vacation and any place that I would like to savor a memory, and thought that a good previously owned camera would suit the purpose, and allow me to save a lot of money also. To me this was a good investment.

Sony DSC-H5 7.2 Megapixel
I saw this camera for sale at ebay so I checked how it stands on online reviews.I've seen online reviews about the camera and although it doesn't have much of a real D-SLR specs but it does meet my expectations and do it's job well.
My wife liked the big LCD screen and the manual settings.It did came without the shot button but I did remedy it,with a little salvaging for parts around with friends and ya it did worked fine,I'm satisfied.Read full review...
Sony DSC H-5 Camera
Purchased camera with a variety of additional equipment for a total price of $200.00
Camera works perfectly, large screen, many options and of course its a SONY.
Purchased was based upon the value of all the additional equipment included and the professional layout of the listing was also a factor. The seller took the time to list, photograph and explain all the benefits and features..that, with the price was the reason for the purchase.
If you are looking for a digital camera that is a step above the smaller "point & Shoot" - this is a great choice.Read full review...
A great camera at a moderate price
Camera is an excellent design and has great features. Also it is manufactured by a reputable company (Sony) which has a long reputation for producing great products. The camera has a lot of bells and whistles and should fulfill the needs of most amateur photographers who do not want to pay the outrageous SLR prices.Read full review...

Excellent Camera
This is probably one of the best cameras I have used. Easy to use and the zoom really captures the close up shots nice and clear.
The batteries seem to last a very long time even with the flash on.

Excellent photos and easy to use. The manual is very poor
however. Search through goggle to find out how to delete
all pictures at once. The explanation was not in the manual.
I love this camera
Not only does this camera have one hellva zoom, but it's other functions are easy as well. I think this is a 10 out of 10.
This is a great camera so far.
Just got it and already too many features to figure out! I am so gonna love shooting the kids and aircraft at work with it. Cant wait to learn what it can do and see how the photos turn out.
