Cloak and Dagger

There was a mix up and at first I got the wrong DVD. But everything's been corrected and the movie is a great one for preteeners. This is a story of a young boy being raised by a single dad who enters a world of imaginary spies and adventure. When he discovers that he has infiltrated some really bad guys and has something they want, he has a hard time convincing adults that he is not just imagining things. The location is in San Antonio, Texas and the film does a good job of showing off the beauty of this city. The adventure gets seriously dangerous but things turn out okay. Kids seem to really like this story and parents aren't disappointed either.Read full review...

cloak & dagger movie

written by carolee : seller name on ebay momstoystore ... I love this movie becasue I saw it as a kid , and when I looked on ebay I found they had it on dvd I was shocked, I used the buy it now and got it within a few days ... it is the new hit in wide range of 80's and early 90's movies and cartoon favorites... I like the classic 80's era stuff and my kids love it too ... its action packed and thrilling but not extreamly bloody or gory like now a days movies... I rated it a 5 beacuse I would watch it over and over, and the kids have !!! super nastolgic 80's movie with old time atari game fun and mystery !!! my son is 10 years old and this is a perfect movie for that age to get the thrills they want but not to much if you know what i mean... aaa+++ I am one of the children of carolee, I personally love the movie its about a kid who gets a hold
of an atari game and it has a F.B.I. chip inside and the police don't beleve
him that the agent was dead because there is no evidence found. So then
the Terorist men are out to get the child named davey and his imaganary freind jack flack who helps him along the way.

Timeless

I really got this for a 9 year old because even as an adult I liked this movie and it was something I knew I really would have liked as a kid. Watched again and still liked it. The technology may be dated but the story is timeless.Read full review...

Cloak & Dagger for all ages

This is a great story for the 8-12 year old children. It has enough suspense and action that holds their attention and is also a good story for adults. It is unfortunately dated as in the technology is far more advanced than what is shown in the movie, but the willing disbelief of the story overcomes that. I bought this movie as it is one that my children, who are now adults, enjoyed as a child and can now be shown to their children. This is one movie that when you have visiting children who want to be entertained, fits the bill.Read full review...

Excellent item! A fun family movie worth purchasing!

I couldn't find this anywhere, yet it's a movie I've enjoyed. Dabney Coleman plays a duel role as work-weary father to Henry Thomas' character and as his ready upon demand super-hero imaginary side-kick. Things get a bit hairy, though, when the kid gets involved in an espionage caper and tries to uncover clues he found hidden in a video game he was handed.... and suddenly his own life is in danger. When his super-hero side-kick falters after sacrificing himself to save the kid, his father steps up and shows himself to be a real-life super-hero his son was hoping for.

A great family film.
