A great little console & easy to use , a great product for kids

I bought the ds lite as a Christmas present for my 6 yr old grandson. It's a great starter console although compared to the newer models of ds it seems quite basic in comparison . My grandson however seems to be managing with the controls & stylus and is really happy that he's now a big boy with a real ds !!! Good choice

For its age and price is a perfect fun console. There are a ton of fun games not just for children. Battery life is unbelieveable besides our todays smartphones.

Bargain Computer game system

I bought this so that my 6 year old son could play games with his Dad (needed a DS each). The product is excellent and easy to use. My 6 year old has to show his Dad what to do. Great for long waits, such as supermarket shopping, hairdressers, train and car journeys and great for enforced chill out time. Highly recommended. Dual screen, touch bottom screen, and over 5000 softwares for it ^^

After many web surfing, I found out that the Nintendo consoles had over 5000 games and apps, much more than my psp. Unlike the psp, there are apps like puzzles, brain games, and language learning. Since I wanted to use those learning games, I bought a DS. I choose the DS lite due to the compatiblity with various formats (Slot1, Slot2, and SD cards with extra hardware), and the (used) low price.

An added bonus, for the electronic diy, is that you can redo the wiring on old gba game cardriges, and interface your DS with other devices, like a PIC microcontroller, and use homemade games!

Best hand held game I have ever bought.

This is a compact item, easy to take anywhere and the battery lasts for ages. There are hundreds of games you can play on it and the graphics are very good. I would recomend this to anyone, light and east to carry around, games are tiny too. Battery charge is also very quick.Read full review...

The best DS ever made .

In my opinion the DS Lite is the most usable DS ever made ,
sleeker than the origional DS and just as much fun . The great and huge selection of games caters for all ages and brains and also being cheap enough to repair means that this games console will continue to be a top seller unlike the newer versions which are a lot more expensive to maintain and as far as the 3DS is concerned , less of a headache and eyestrain .
