Great solid camera.

I love the image quality from this oldie but goodie. It feels like a brick, very substantial and is great with the smaller retractable kit lens. Not sure how balanced it would be with a larger lens attached. I was familiar with Olympus settings so could easily change all the functions - might be a bit of a learning curve for others but the 'super screen really helps. All in all a great value for the money. Would buy again.Read full review...

Full featured, small size, great pictures. Great value for the money.

Very easy to use. Intuitive menus. Shoot only in RAW and have had great results. Excellent low-light capabilities. bought this product because I also have other 4/3 cameras, and wanted to be able to switch back and forth with lenses. External flash options are limited, but that is a minor issue.Read full review...

E-pl2 GREAT ITEM!

this camera is great! a little different compared to my e-p1 but i still like it. the flash feature is something that always comes in handy in those really dark areas. the quiet lens makes a HUGE difference in the video quality because you dont hear the focus wheel spinning. overall i think this camera is great for people who can't afford a expensive DSLR camera and dont want the poor quality of a point and shoot camera.Read full review...

Wonderful MFT EVIL camera, an excellent update on the EPL1

I previously owned the EPL1, but decided to buy this one since it supports an external remote control, which I need for astrophotography. Reading the reviews I thought that not much had changed, but on receiving it and using it I discovered that although the updates are small, they are very good! The new kit lens has very soft zoom mechanics, and it looks crispier than the older version. The extra screen space is very welcome, and the control wheel at the back much more useful.

One recommendation: Do get the electronic viewfinder. Not only it's of excellent quality, but makes the camera much more useful on broad daylight.

For people who have not owned an EVIL camera, get this one. Has the best kick for the money...

Amazing, especially for a Micro 4/3!

This is an excellent camera, as is Panasonic's equivelant offering. Video is superb! IQ is amazing, especially when considering it is a Micro 4/3 sensor! Very reminiscent of the old Rangefinders IMHO. I never cared for the 4/3 sensor systems nor the original Micro 4/3 sensor systems, but the latest from Olympus and Panasonic have really turned my opinion around! Until the Pen series I couldn't stand shooting with anything Olympus to be frank! But this camera is nothing but pleasure! Great for weddings, street shooting, PJ type work even, etc. Great carry around camera when a dSLR is just too big and bulky! I am truly impressed by this camera!Read full review...

Great 12MP camera!

Excellent camera, I've owned several recent Olympus Digital SLR's and this has similar operating features so it was a quick learn. I am using this as a daily shooter and keeping the E-620 for other pro jobs. Things I like about the E-PL2 are the size and the weight and of course the Olympus quality.Read full review...

great camera, great value

A great little camera, very lightweight with a lot of features packed into it's small body. A great step between a point and shoot and a DSLR. There are loads of lenses that fit it and loads of aftermarket attachments that make this camera fun.Read full review...

no bad, regarding to this price and this size

compact size, works as a DSLR, the 14-42mmII performs better than other M4/3 kit lens, art filters are quite funny.
con: battery last no more than 200 shots, overall plastic feeling, the dial ring is too sensitive, ISO not starts from 100.Read full review...

Awesome Product from Olympus!

Smart, compact and excellent. It has all that one needs in a professional DLSR. It is much more advanced and reliable. I love it!
