Fun premise, hard to play

I was really excited about the premise of this game. Apex differs from other racing games in that you are the founder of a small race car company. You must choose the name for your car company, the logo, and what type of car to build (from a choice of three different cars).

You then take that car and race it to earn prestige for your company, which then translates to sales and allows you to build better and faster cars. However, the reality is that your first car is turtle-slow, doesn't handle or brake well, and it's almost impossible to place better than 2nd or 3rd in a race. I think they could have made the first races much easier than they are. Also, the actual handling and driving of the car isn't as good as in a game like Need for Speed or other racing titles I've played.

You must have a lot of patience to play this game and work your way up. I don't have a lot of patience, and I've pretty much given up on this game. Other reviews I've read seemed to be really good so obviously some people are enjoying this title, but it's just not for me.Read full review...
