A gem from the 6th generation

2020 and this game still has a fun factor that is off the charts. Any fan of the tv show will love the how Springfield comes to life in all its locations, characters and vibe. The driving missions are hilarious and madcap. The characters appear to be voiced by the original performers, and the technical game elements (graphics, sound, controls) push the envelope of what a sixth generation system can do. Fun & funny, but a little simple.

I do like the game, because it is fun to play. But I wish it had more to do apart from playing the missions. I also wish they made more things interactive in the game, vs just being there for show. Fun game for the true Simpson's fan

Welcome to the town of Springfield, home of America's favorite family the Simpsons. Any fan of the show will immediately recognize Springfield landmarks like Moe's Tavern and the Kwik E Mart. Also present are the Simpson's family and most if not all of the supporting characters like Chief Wiggum, Apu, Millhouse, etc. Voiceovers are done by the actual Simpson's cast and the game's story is written by the Simpson's writers so you know the game stays true to the spirit of the show.

While there are over 50 missions to complete the best part of the game is just driving around Springfield seeing the city and interacting with the characters. This is especially true while driving considering how much Homer is yelling when you hit pedestrians and other objects. Simpsons Hit and Run is also Multitap capable for up to four players.

The game is fun to play and watch, even if its somewhat repetitive at times, and is a must for any fan of the show.Read full review...

Bart gets strangled again, and gets abducted by Aliens

I think the game is awesome. You get to run over any one you can reach in the cars, beat people up out of anger or just do it for the heck of it, a whole bunch of cars and missions. Sure it has a little swearing if you bump in to alot of things but you can go almost any where and there are a lot of great and funny costumes from the comics and the t.v show. the only bad thing is the two player. Youonly get to race and it is extremely hard to control. But it`s still a great game if you don`t count the adult humor, swearing, and 2 player. One more thing. If you collect all the cards you unlock a funny itchy and scratchy cartoon. BUY IT if you can.Read full review...

The game is good

The game is very good and it's in the condition as it says. The game was a really good game for 2003 but it did kinda feel weird playing it again not it's bad since 2003 was a long time ago it just felt weird playing this again since I got used to playing the PS4 so maybe that's why it felt weird. I love this game but yeah it has some minor issues but I would say it's a buy and worth the money.Read full review...

Hours of fun

Amazing games! Can't put them down!! For the time they were released the graphics were good. They might not stand up to the 4K tv generations but these were and are great games. The Simpsons road rage can lose a little allure after some time due to the limits of the game. It's basically like a Simpsons version of crazy taxi. But The Simpsons Hit and Run is where the endless fun begins. To make another comparison it's like a Simpsons version of GTA. You can steal cars and do races and side quests; collectibles, costumes, and crazy story missions and levels. My personal favorite part is the tree house of horrors part of the game.

Simpsons Hit & Run

I decided to purchase this game because my husband is a fan of the Simpsons and really enjoys The Simpson's Road Rage game. He is not a big video game person but the Road Rage game cracks him up and he likes how it is one of those games that you can just pick up and start playing right away (not a huge involved story line). The Simpsons Hit & Run actually has more of a story line and there are alot of things to collect while both walking and driving. My husband does not enjoy this one as much but my kids and I really like it. Some of the challenges and side quests are tough because they are timed but you do not have to complete everything to move on to the next level. If you are a fan of the Simpson's you will enjoy this game as it has all of the characters from the show and the scenery will also be very familiar. As Funny As The Show

Homer traipsing around to find stuff and then driving to go to the next item all while commenting sarcastically about what is going on really makes this "Crazy Taxi" theme game even better. Colorful cartoon city areas and tight control will bring a smile to all Simpson's fans. A Funny Yet Somewhat Difficult Delight

I love the fact that this game has the real voices of the characters. There are funny sayings throughout the game that liven things up a bit. I also like the fact that you can walk in the game as well although it appears to be mostly a racing game by its title. You can play as multiple characters, whereas in other games, you can only play as one main character. The Simpsons: Hit & Run (PS2)

I thought the storyline, gameplay, and characters were great, but some characters played little or no role in the game (e.g. Bleeding Gums Murphy). Voices and artwork on the game were "realistic" compared to the television show.

Great game for young and old, however, some of the language surprised me, but it was a PG-13 rating. I finished the game over a period of weeks - it was not too difficult. I will still keep this game for future play, simply for the humor value.

Gameplay - 8/10
Graphics - 9/10
Difficulty - 7/10
Recommend ? Yes, especially for a Simpson's fan.
