This product helped numb my cold sore and the ointment’s slightly green color neutralized the redness. Green tinted primers have been used in cosmetics to reduce redness in our complexions for a long time but this is the first time I’ve seen that migrate into a cold sore treatment, but it makes complete sense. It does not heal the cold sore any faster, no cream can despite the claims of some. Cold sores are what they are and you can only hope to be more comfortable until they pass.
