Good idea that does not perform properly due to design flaws

This positives of this violin shoulder pad is that it is in inexpensive. However, the design of the pad is flawed because it is very difficult to secure the pad on the violin. There are two elastic band but one has to be played over the chinrest and the other elastic band is not long enough to remain in place over the two corners that are closest to the fingerboard/scroll. It would be a much better product if there were three shorter elastic bands on the pad, one for the end pin, and the other two for the corners. The idea of the pad is great but in is basically non-functional in its current form.Read full review...
