My guitar is like my 4th kid. I was truly sick and tired of trying to find the "right fit" with a sound hole hydrator, am short on attention-span/math skills for the more sophisticated systems. I worried about humidity levels being too high, too low or just drippy on the finish.
The design of this humidifier is practical and smart - a book-fold arrangement that hangs between the the strings into the sound hole with NO wood contact.
There is no "optimal humidity" light that comes on, but I'll tell you this: after casing my guitar for two days with the Planet Waves system, my guitar has never sounded better. No joke. I have a great, older, luthier-built,classical body-braced -for-steel sweetheart that always sounds pretty fabulous, but now it's fabulous AND happy. Me too.

really great easy to use humidifier system

good price on a good product the box was beat up as described in the listing and the product inside was in perfect condition. ill take this deal any time
this is the 3rd humidifier pack i have bought and they have really helped my acoustic guitars, not sure if it does anything for my solid body les paul but i guess it couldnt hurt.
these are simple to use but im not sure how long they will last as i have just started using these instead of the old sponge type humidifiers. when they finally do dry up ill try to recondition them like some people claim you can do.
so far im very happy because i no longer have to worry about water damage to my guitars if the sponge type leaks ect.

Easy, reliable humidity control for guitar

This product does exactly what it says it will do. Easy to use. It is maintaining a constant 43 percent humidity in my guitar case when the house has been either dry or humid conditions. I have had it only one month so I cannot comment on how long the packets will last, but it is nice to not have to worry about needing to refill sponge type humidifiers as I did in the past.Read full review...

Humidipak

If you live in a very humid area (ie Southeastern US) these are an absolute must. One-way humidifiers are useless when you need to reduce humidity. These last much longer than advertised in humid climates because the packs don't dry out as quickly. D'Addario humidity in a pak

Certainly is easy but costs a lot. I learned that you can buy a second set of paks and rehumidify them in a baggy with a wet washcloth so you don't have to buy new paks all the time. This will cut down on the expense greatly.Read full review...
