Best wireless earbuds out there

Sony did a great job with these earbuds. From the design to the case, it's amazing.

The features that are included with the Sony headphones app are great. The noise cancelling feature is top notch and I use it for work all the time. You could also have ambient noise pump through the microphones if you need to hear certain things externally. One of my favorite features is being able to hold your finger on the touchpad to momentarily listen to external noise if you're going to have a quick conversation and you don't want to have to remove the earbuds.

The sounds is amazing. We're talking Sony here. Listening to songs, you hear the separations of the highs, mids, and lows. There's plenty of bass if you're into that and you're able to crank it up in the Headphones app and play with the equalizer, which is very easy to use.

Once paired with your phone, all you have to do is just pull the earbuds out of the case and you're good to go. In my week with this, I have yet to experience any connection issues at all.

My main complaint is that these don't have the best fit in my ears. No matter which size eartips I use that came with the earbuds, they somehow manage to fall out occasionally. So, your mileage may vary when it comes to the fit of these earbuds.

All in all, these are fantastic wireless earbuds. They have great sound, amazing noise cancellation, and really good battery life. An all around win.

Sounds great, but heavy and maybe not worth it

Honestly not that great. They're heavy and thus fall out of your ears easily. They sound great but not that great compared to others in the same price range or even cheaper. Yeah there is ANC, which sets it apart, but if you use ANC and all the special Sony features, the battery life lasts about 2 hours max.

I think I'll still with the over-ear XM4s if I want ANC, and something lighter and better fitting if I just want something to walk around in.

ANC works and sound is very good.

ANC -- main reason I bought it -- It works well for plane/car road noise ...although, I think the Bose ANC headphones that I have work a bit better ... but Sony is great for being wireless & small form factor. I've also replaced the tips with Comply, they add another layer of passive noise cancelling.

Sound -- Very good. The app has EQ so you can customize your sound.

Adaptive Control -- nice feature/option. It changes according to your surroundings.

Latest firmware allows you to customize playback/volume control on the earphones.

Unsure about voice transmission -- I got cut out a couple of times trying to call .. Another firmware update would potentially fix/enhance the voice calling.

Bluetooth -- also got dropped off but reconnected quickly a few times -- still, shouldn't happen -- Maybe a firmware update would help.

Battery life seems good. The charging case is a bit heavy/bulky.

Great sound, larger and heavier than some other earbuds

These earbuds have great sound. They have full, rich sound, doesn't sound tinny at all. The touch controls work well. They were easy enough to pair with my iPhone 11 Pro.

I have trouble keeping the earbuds in my ear. The rubber ear pieces didn't fit me well, so I used a different set i had around the house, now the earbuds stay in my ear much better, still not perfect, but they are better. The noise cancelling is ok, but it probably will never match that of over the ear earphones just by the nature of an earbud. These earbuds are larger than others I've owned they weigh 8.04g each, which is about 2g over the Jabra's I had owned previously. The case is significantly larger, and heavier (92g). But the sound is worth the extra weight and size.

All-in-all, I would recommend these to anyone who wants great sound from an earbud.

Good earbuds, not my favorite ever but I like the sound quality.

I've used the Galaxy Buds Pro, Jabra Elite 85t, and now these Sony earbuds and I like the sound quality the most on these. However, I haven't found the right ear tips for me yet because they're not the most comfortable, and the earbuds case is massive so they're not really pocketable. If size isn't a concern for you though, these are excellent earbuds if you can get them in the $80 to $100 range. Easily the best you can get in that price range. Read full review...

Great sound in a small package.

Amazing sound for the size and battery life so far has been great. Comfortable fit in my ears and the various sizes and types of ear bud really help to customize to your liking.
Only con I would say is the noise cancelling can be a little difficult to get right if you don't have a really good seal. I'd probably use a better headset or my Bose earbuds if I wanted really good noise cancelling. But does help to significantly reduce surrounding noise. Read full review...

With the Sony Headphone App, the sound is amazing

I have bought and owned many ear pieces from different brands including Apple Pro, and several others for Android, but with the Sony App, I have to rate them the best. I just have a difficult time find the right ear tips to secure them properly in my ears without being uncomfortable and/or falling off my ears. If you can find the proper fit, the sound is AMAZING.Read full review...

Great but not 5*

I do like these a lot because the quality and what it offers for the price.
My dislike is with the fact that these buds need a "Beats" type of hook to wrap around the ears because these are a tiny bit heavy.
These are fully featured including noise cancellation, which is top notch and their app is very useful.

By Far The Best Headphones I Have Ever Owned.

The best headphones I have ever owned. Sound and noise canceling is top-notch. They are a little bigger than I would like, but the quality of the product makes me overlook that one flaw. I really wanted to wear them to bed to play some relaxing sounds and drown out some tinnitus. Because of the size, you can't just lay your head down on a pillow. You have to toss and turn to get situated just perfect to do that. However - I travel for a living and have had Bose for the last several years. In my opinion, these are better. Far easier to use. Wireless, noise canceling, and rechargeable. The battery lasts a VERY long time. They have easy controls on the ear pieces, a useful app, and the list goes on. A read step up. Especially for the price. Good price at this store ($159). Average price at other box stores is $228 and I was not willing to go that high for headphones. Brand new -- not used returned or refurbished.Read full review...

WF-1000XM3 Wireless Noise-Canceling Headphones,

Yes, WF-1000XM3 Wireless Noise-Canceling Headphones,
this is really excellent sound quality, with beautiful packaging, but their large size and not very user-friendly design, besides their fast discharge, disappointed. I left the headphones, only because of their unsurpassed sound.Read full review...
