Measure everything, foot press, holder size, top press or inset press. EVERYTHING MATTERS.
Be careful. Measure before you buy any pedal holder. Our Pedal did NOT fit into the provided slot. Additionally, the pedal would recess into the slot but NOT stay there. If you have a top press foot pedal when you press down on the pedal it causes the pedal to rise out of the holder. OR in our case you have to press extremely hard and lose any sense of speed control. Full on or Off. I was able to modify the pedal holder to suit our needs. It was not pretty. The pedal holder will still slide on carpet, but, its better than not having the holder. It does sorta work. With an additional modification (thumb tacks). We stopped the holder from sliding.
To make a better "mouse trap" would be all but impossible consider the numerous types of foot pedals. However, we were able to make this work. Read full review...

Not large enough
It is sturdy and looks good but my Bernina Sewing Machine Foot is too big to fit the pedal placement.
I’m hoping the serger I order has a smaller foot. If it does, I’d give it 5 stars.
