Ratchet and Clank all 4 one.

Always been a ratchet and clank fan but this game was probably the easiest to win I've played. Seems like in an effort to make it easy, the manufacture has dumbed it down so any kids that play the game will win and feel good about themselves. Cuatro mejor que uno: Robustez visual

A partir de ahí comienza su odisea, teniendo que recorrer múltiples decorados de un tamaño razonable repletos de múltiples peligros. En este sentido, el título se mantiene fiel a su jugabilidad clásica. Es decir, que en la aventura reinan los duelos a tiro limpio contra decenas de rivales, pudiendo hacer uso de un arsenal tan completo y original como siempre. Pero para que la acción no caiga en la monotonía a mitad de la partida, el juego incorpora otros alicientes como pequeñas zonas plataformeras, algún que otro puzle y altas dosis de exploración, pudiendo recoger varios objetos relevantes diferentes.
Y como suele suceder, esta fórmula de juego termina enganchando a poco que os gusten las aventuras de acción. El control de los personajes es sencillo de asimilar, los personajes gozan de un carisma a prueba de bombas y encima la aventura está repleta de momentos bastante cachondos y simpaticones. Ratchet y sus amigos vuelven a brindarnos diversión y acción que puede ser disfrutada por jugadores de todas las edades.
Si nos quedáramos sólo en esto que os acabamos de comentar, estaríamos ante otro episodio continuista más de esta clásica serie. Y eso no sería del todo malo, la verdad. Pero a esta mecánica de juego se ha añadido la incorporación del modo cooperativo para cuatro jugadores, modalidad que cambia bastante la dimensión del título y que ofrece más posibilidades.
Esta modalidad es bastante flexible en muchos sentidos. De entrada, en ella pueden tener cabida dos, tres o cuatro jugadores, controlando cada uno de ellos a un héroe diferente. Dichos personajes poseen alguna que otra característica única más allá de su distinción estética pero, a grandes rasgos, no existen importantes cambios entre unos y otros.
Insomniac Games ha concebido el juego pensando precisamente en esta opción multijugador, y eso se deja notar. Y es que a lo largo de los niveles nos topamos con ciertas situaciones y obstáculos que solo pueden ser solventados cooperando entre los distintos personajes. Así, determinados puzles (como activar interruptores) únicamente pueden ser solucionados con la ayuda de nuestros compañeros, lo mismo que el hecho de derrotar a determinados rivales. Es más, incluso es posible realizar alguna que otra acción especial combinada realmente contundente. Con esto queremos decir que esta opción no es un relleno ni ha sido incluida de cara a la galería, sino que tiene su razón de ser y funciona realmente bien.
En cuanto a su parcela gráfica, el título se muestra robusto e imaginativo, si bien no explota todo el potencial de la consola. Lo más destacado es la solvencia que demuestra el motor gráfico utilizado para dar vida a la aventura, incluso en los momentos álgidos de acción, a lo que se une unos decorados realmente bellos en su mayoría. Los personajes y enemigos gozan de un modelado notable y animaciones suaves, pudiendo aparecer simultáneamente en pantalla un número elevado de personajes. Además en cada partida observamos un alto número de efectos especiales producidos sobre todo por las diversas armas que podemos empuñar, lo que a veces dificulta el seguimiento de las evoluciones de los protagonistas.
Del sonido destaca su buen doblaje al castellano, que nos ofrece múltiples diálogos entre los personajes bastante graciosos. La banda sonora pasa más desapercibida, pero se complementa con unos efectos sonoros muy buenos, especialmente los que proceden de las armas Y es precisamente cuando aprovechamos esta opción.Read full review...

I enjoyed it.

It was an interesting change up but I still felt the game was fun. The best way to play this is with 4 players as that allows for you to get a whole lot of bolts in a short amount of time. I'm not sure I'll get all the trophies and skill points like I normally do... requires you to beat the game 4 times, once with each character.

I felt some segments too heavily relied on coordination and I ended up sometimes being extremely happy I was playing in single player with an adequate AI. BTW, I wasn't trying to play in single player but the online is pretty dead and hardly anybody wants to join my hard setting game. You may fair better at finding partners if you play in normal mode or if you play with quark and nefarious.

Also, I played on a 3d display. With the exception of a small percentage of subtitles, 3d looked great. It was only a couple of scenes the 3d subtitles couldn't be read. Its odd enough that it makes you think you've been playing too long and your eyes need to rest when in all actuality it was the game(although being fooled into resting wasn't a bad thing for me :)). But an upcoming patch supposedly fixes the subtitles.

Bottom line, is if you are a fan of the series, you should buy this game. Beware though, online play requires you to buy new or to buy an 10 dollar online pass. New games include one online pass free.Read full review...

Thw Wigwam looks ugly.

It's is awesome. One of the best games we have played. One improvement would be to let you buy any weapon if you habe enough bolts. Please make more Ratchet and Clank.

Not as fun as other Ratchet games but worth the $29.00.

I'm a Ratchet fan! I own "ALL" the Ratchet games. I like Ratchets new game All 4 One however, it's not as good as the other Ratchet games functionally. There are more softwear quirks in this game then any other Ratchet game. I had to turn the game off two times "HARD reset" on my Play Station 3, not a good thing. The game doen't give the player the 360 look around capability like older Ratchet games. It's almost like the game designer was in a hurry.

But all and all we enjoy playing the game but I'm already looking forward to the next Ratched Adventure!Read full review...

After playing all the ratchet and clank games on PS2, I couldn't wait to try on on the PS3. And I'm glad I did.
