Nineteen years old and works like new

Bought a used one on Ebay for $50 solely for audio and to get a unit with a remote for the man cave. Got a really great deal. All of my equipment is high end, vintage stuff so it looks out of place somewhat but the tuner and amp are as good as any of my old stuff. It will drive inefficient speakers to levels that will surprise you and the tuner is very good. If you can get one for a good price, don't pass it up.Read full review

This particular Pioneer receiver I purchased one roughly around 25 years ago and has been working like a charm ever since until recently.

So I decided to go ahead and purchase one exactly like it because I knew they were in fact really decent receivers and they were absolutely amazing.
