Failed TODAY

I activated this phone 3 weeks ago. I have recharged it every 3 days. I have noticed this phone is turning itself completly off after just a few minutes of non use and requires me to restart the phone almost every time shortly after hanging up from the previous call. I have been using this model of phone for several years and this malfunction symptom is completely different than the other 6 [SGH157] phones that I have retired for other failures. I use the "old" broken phones to recharge spare batteries that I have accumulated over the past 5 years when the active AT&T SGH-157 phone fails. I consider myself SMART to not spend outrageous money on phones that have cameras and internet connection. I would request a replacement for this phone on the basis of what I have explained previously. Read full review

Basic phone, and quite flimsy

This is obviously a very basic phone, usable just for calling. For that function, it works. Battery lasts long and it is satisfyingly small.
The bad thing - it is quite flimsy. Battery cover is held by small and very thin notches. I very nearly broke one when installing the battery for the first time. It feels that it won't survive more than a handful of times of taking the battery/SIM card out and putting it back. Read full review

To my surprise, this can take a beating.

My wife hates smart phones and wanted just a simple flip phone so I grabbed this because it's cheap.
To my surprise, this can take a beating. Wife is always dropping this and when it happens, the back flies off, battery flies out and the body goes scooting across the floor (street, parking lot).
When all three parts are located, I just snap it back together and it works fine.
