Below Average Hybrid Recording

I love this album, but this recording is barely better than my standard CD copy which I've owned for 20 years (micropolished) and can now be purchased for $4 new. Great Album, great sounds,,,but not a very good SACD, even if it is only a hybrid, in that for $24 less you could have 95+% of the sound quality in a standard CD. If they went 5.1 it could be excellent just for the effect,,,but it's a stereo hybrid. I'm running: Integra DPS-8.3 SACD Player; AudioQuest Mackenzie River interconnects; Emotiva XMC-1 PreAmp; Monolith 7 Amp; Mapleshade Double Helix Plus Speaker Wires; Paradigm Studio 100 V.2 7.1 surround with Studio 60 rears, Studio 20 mid, cc-470 center, and Velodyne Optimum-12 Sub.Read full review...
