Made of hard plastic much more durable. Also used it on other model Sony camera, with slight altercation via a pair of scissors. Hard plastic is easy to clean

I wouldn't call this "Rubber"

Just so everyone knows, these eyepieces have no rubber at all in their construction and are, in fact, completely hard plastic. That isn't quite what was advertised or what I expected, and it is much less comfortable than a rubber one, but you get what you pay for for sure.Read full review...
