Have an old 3.1 beast that I use for audio work. It came with 24G. When one DIMM failed, I bought Memgate's kit and upgraded to 32G. Was very happy for a few years. Recently my Mac got traumatized, and 3 of the 4 non-Memgate DIMMS failed, and the 4 Memgate ones all survived in good health. Admittedly, this could be an age-related thing, since they were older, but still... So, of course I bought another kit of 4 more. These things are great!
