LOVED them

Installed them in a PRS Zach Meyer's Signature semihollow electric guitar. LOVED them. Good, warm and organic tone. Great string to string balance with no jumps on the scales. Bridge had a full, tight, and defined sound while when the neck height is balanced with the height for volume the bridge, gives a very open, mellow, and rich tone that when the tone is rolled off, gives a gnarly jazz tone. The voicing of the the pickups are close to a p90 with a very satisfying chirp when played through an el84 tube amp. And what I mean by that is that it is more noticeable with these than the humbuckers it replaced. Would easily reccomend these to someone looking to get more of a p90 sound in a humbucker guitar without having to reroute, buy another guitar, and doesn't have a lot of cash to spare.

Took it apart, It's a humbucker single bobbin

I took the pickup apart to disconnect the finish of the coil from the baseplate. Upon opening the cover, I found a single bobbin from a humbucker, not a p90 bobbin at all. If defense of the pickup, it may sound good that way, but it's not going to be a true p90. Very disappointedRead full review...

P94 pickups

I installed these in My Gibson Chet Atkins Country Gentleman . Its now a Blues guitar Monster . The original Gibson pickups were pure mud . Had to change the master volume pot to linear taper and add a treble bleed cap on it to get the proper sweep for better control of these great sounding pickups .Read full review...
