Good pick up for the price and gives that Next Gen feel I've been looking for
For the price this is really good! Does it sound like the $100 dimarzio counter part? No, but it does sound way more expensive than less than $20, more so compared to the stock mexican tele pickup.
It's a bit louder than my stock pickup and better clarity. The mid range doesn't feel like it has a blanket of it any more. High end sounds good and not shrill and low end is similar to my stock pickup. Definitely recommend if you want to spend a little money and enjoy your bridge pickup.
One thing of note is that I had to file down my bridge holes for where the pickups went, seemed like either screws are metric and bridge is imperial or vice versa. Either way wasn't super hard to find.

Artec Hot Rail Ceramic 5 Tele pickup.
Very surprised by how good it sounded in both series parallel mode. Can't beat the deal on this, either. Building partscaster type projects that sound and play good on the cheap without sounding cheap.
