love the no belt needed great fit and for the money no one can touch it if your a holster snob then by the expensive one, but a regular person can't beat it allows for concealment even under a t shirt. i love it freedom while carrying don't feel like Im strapped to my gun. i do how ever carry a stainless model but the material does seem forgiving. a+Read full review...

Fobus TA85 paddle holster
Only had holster for a week now and seems OK although the gun is starting to feel lose in holster. Revolver isn't falling out but it rattles around in the holster when you walk and can be heard by people around you, had a nice snug fit when first got it. I have heard so many people complain that it is hard to get pistol out of the holster and learned quickly that if you use your thumb and press down on the inside part of the holster(up by the rivet nearest the hammer of your gun) while drawing the gun will come out of the holster a whole lot easier. The description of holster on site I bought it off of stated holster weighed a mere 2 ounces, mine weighed 3.4 ounces. It does the job I need it to do but could be better.Read full review...

A comfortable and secure holster.
Took about 2 days to get it broke in. After that gun has been easy in easy out. No loose motion or rattle of gun in holster. Has not marked gun at all. It is very comfortable to wear. Makes it possible to have an "Always Carry". It is easy and fast to put on or take off. To break it in, I wrapped gun in wax paper and work it in and out several times and also left it almost all the way in for a couple of nights. Love my new holster
I was hesitant to buy online. After receiving the holster I put it on my side and all three of my 38 revolver’s hair in it perfect. Smith and Wesson ruger and Taurus. The paddle design It’s so comfortable. It stays nice and straight on my side. I thought I would need a thumb strap to hold the gun on. You do not need one with this holster. Great fit for Taurus 85 .38 special
-Great tight fit. Since its not a level 2 or 3 type holster it has the perfect tight fit to secure the firearm well.
-It looks and feels nice and durable.
-Compact enough to wear with a tshirt without being noticeable.
-I like that the padding on the paddle area (red part) is rubber grip so I can even carry my revolver wearing basketball shorts or workout gear and it'll hold up just fine.

Needs tension screw.
A Taurus .38 Special fits perfectly in this holster. However, it does not have a tension screw like other Fobus holsters. My gun is easier to pull after some use but still fits too tight for a quick draw. Being able to adjust the tension would make this holster a 5 star product.Read full review...

Fobus TA85 Standard Right Holster Paddle Fits most Rossi & Taurus Pistol
A bit tight, but a little work with sandpaper makes for a custom fit. My pistol has a laser sight on it, so a bit of grinding with a dremel tool was required. Good value

Taurus 605
It’s not a great fit for the Taurus 605. The trigger guard retention area is just to narrow and makes for a really tight fit and also makes it tough to draw easily. Maybe some silicone lube will help!
