perfect size for glass tops
I have used this 4 times and get perfect results. Not too heavy for glass tops, though I have also used their 8qt version on my stove. Whole chicken 30mins, 2 large roasts and a 3lb beef tongue in 45-50 mins. Only desire would be an adjustable gauge as opposed to the rocker pressure control.Read full review...

Vintage Pressure Cooker
The older type are so much easier to use than the newer models that have too many safety features.

Absolutely a best buy!
I've cooked several southern staple dishes in here already and they came out perfectly! I even cooked a pot of frozen zipper peas, frozen cut up okra and frozen, smoked neckbones. The peas were creamy, the okra tender and the meat was falling off the bone! It comes with a recipe booklet for the cooker with recipes from main courses, meats and veggies to baked goods. It even gives you tips on how to adapt your recipes for the cooker and that's what I did.
It has a sort of rack/stand that goes in the bottom if you're baking or steaming etc.
The first time I used it i had a problem with it sealing properly. I removed it from the stove and let it cool down until the pressure valve in the handle dropped. I removed the lid, flipped the rubber gasket that's in the lid upside down and put it back in place and put it back on the stove and the pressure valve on the lid started dancing in no time!Read full review...

The Real Deal!
Great price, good name brand, easy to use, gives full 15 psi pressure for fast cooking, and complete sterilization. Eight psi is not enough. This is the real deal!

Proves to be very economical using cheaper cuts of meat.
Have owned many of the Presto 6 quart Pressure Cookers in the past. Always loved the way the meals rurned out, very tender and juicy. Now only cooking for one person, the smaller pot is just right for me. Read full review...

A Great Gift
I bought this pressure cooker for my Mom. It was just the size she was looking for. She needed it to replace one she had had for many years :) She was thrilled and has used it several times now. Great bargain.Read full review...

Love it
I really like this pressure cooker. I already had one the same size but it is stainless steel and much too heavy for me to handle now that I have gotten older (81 years old). This one is light weight and cooks just as well as the stainless steel one. I would highly recommed this one for any age, it is also much less in price and just as good.Read full review...
