the metal mesh on the inside of the holes controls the flow of food, which is needed, because without it, the food falls out. However, due to the mesh and the control, the birds peck at the wood to enlarge the wholes so they can get to the food.Blue jays are attracted to it and scare off the other birds.Read full review...
