Great and easy antenna fix
Reception is as good as original antenna, I actually think maybe better. Install in less than 10 minutes. It is a little expensive I thought. But after the install I thought of all the difficulty and aggrivation it saved me it makes it worth it. Excellent Product !!Read full review...

Correct fix for broken antennae
My antennae on my 2002 Silverado has been broken a while and have used several aftermarket antennae that sort of attached then fall off. This is made to fit the broken mount of my truck specifically and works well. I do think a second set screw 45 degrees from the current single one would make it even better. This is what I did to it. Don’t get the cable
I tried the original replacement antenna cable. That job is a nightmare! And having it done will easily cost you $300-$400 in labor alone. Then I found this little adaptor and it’s brilliant! My threads were stripped so I cut about 1/4”-3/8” of the threaded base stem before applying the adaptor.
