Great CPU, and Fast!

I replaced this with a Pentium 925, everything is working great. I am getting a bottleneck a bit though, only because the MB i am using old, but i plan to replace it. So if you have not switch over to a dual core, grab a core 2 duo and the e6600 is a perfect choice if you can't find anything. 14+ years later still going strong!!!

In 2020 this CPU is still a capable piece of hardware. With 4 GB RAM and a cheap SSD it performs great in all everyday tasks. It runs cool ,it is power efficient , it can run circles around pentium 4s and Ds and he is still affordable on the used market!!!Read full review
