Awesome Ice cream maker
This thing is great and its the first time I have dabbled with making ice cream. I love it and the main thing is remembering to freeze the bowl.

Good reviews... but... so far it hasn't convinced me :-(
I read reviews that this was one of the best cheaper models and easy to clean. So far... only used it one time. I hope it improves a lot in the next few tries and other recipes.
Made easy vanilla according to recipe with my step daughter as her xmas present. It was not very solid after it finished and had to re-freeze it most of the night after as well. Pretty watery... Tried it the next day and the flavor was good, but far from store bought ice cream. I think it needs more vanilla and sugar... Although, we can tweak the amounts to get it tasting better. The consistency is a little getting used to as its very soft, and icy. I guess from it being watery after then freezing it again.
Its easy to clean and simple design... That is good...

Leaking Freezer Bowl
Despite the super fast shipment of the item, I opened the package only to discover a white, powdery like substance on the edge of the feeezer bowl. It appeared the internal liquid in the freezer bowl had leaked outside I contacted the manufacturer and they advised me to NOT use the freezer bowl. The unit is worthless because of this. Looking at purchasing a different model with better manufacturing integrity from a different manufacturer. Cuisinart reviews are much better.Read full review

Made yogurt, could'nt get out
Bought this item for my dad for fathers day. He made yogurt in it twice. The first time he had trouble getting the yogurt to come out, It stuck to the sides. The second time he made it, it was worse.
