It's sticky. It is tape after all .
My three-star rating could be 2.5. So, why would I recommend it?
Well, as a double-sided tape it works okay, however, don't expect it to hold up your barbells. I taped a 250-tablet bottle of Tylenol under a shelf by its cap to save space. it was more than this tape could handle. Seeing this product on TV, you'd have think it could be used to build a house. You had better not.
I tried it in a moist environment, holding an absorbent pad under a drip in an in-the-door ice dispenser. It did a little better here but has failed once, and it isn't supporting any weight, rather, just keeping it in place.
So, it will depend on where and why you're using this product. One plus, it is easily removed. This can be a real problem with many double sided tapes. This leaves no residual gunk but, I wouldn't expect to use it for any permanent stick up situations.
I can best describe the adhesive by comparing it to the glue used for address labels on mail and magazines.
