Well done movie that doesn't get played on television very often.

Another alien movie but this one has been shown before on television. Several years since it was last shown but after some thinking I remembered the title so I could order the DVD to add to my collection.
The program is well done with good acting and realistic scenes.
Television lacks good film entertainment, which is the reason why I have been collecting DVDs.

Close Encounters of the Great Kind!

Is there a rating above excellent? This is a classic film like "Ben-Hur", "The Godfather", etc. A great story. Great performances from every actor. A study in madness, frustration and government cover-ups. You can't pick this film apart and say this was great and that was great. It was great from start to finish. On DVD it's great because the film is great but it just does not come close to seeing it for the first time in the theatre. When we saw this in the theatre we were blown away. Everyone was.
