It is suppose to have 3 colors, red, blue and yellow. I could only get the red and yellow to work so far. I guess when past the expiration date, do not try and use.

I took a chance on this and it didn't work. the ink was dried up and wound never buy another one.... I would actually give this a o star rating but couldn't.

HP 23 color ink

Know the Facts: Expiration Dates - Dates on back bottom right corner Dates Expires.
I won't buy if it has expired over 12 months. The YELLOW color ink dries up is biggest problem.

I have and still use daily 3 HP 895CSE printers and I have bought several HP 23 on e bay.
For expired HP 23 it may take me up 30 minutes but I have been able get Yellow working and then good as new.Read full review

Cheap ink cartidis what I bought - risk vs reward

Unfortunately, these are dated ink cartridges yr 2013. The price is great but the product was worse than what I wanted to replace. Save the money and buy new ink!

Great choice.It is the same great quality and the same OEM that you buy for a lot more, but for much less the price.It is in range of expiration date to produce the same quality images as fresh one.The best bet is with in a year of the expiration then you're good to go. Dated 2012, it works in 2017.

I took a bit of a chance, but I really only needed one color to work since I use that printer almost exclusively to print black, or checks with some color in the logo. But all three colors work.
