I wasn't sure about switching from android to Apple - but it wasn't a big deal. I have 5 batteries for my s3 so I don't have to be wired in constantly. If you don't use the Apple 5 the battery lasts a good amount of time and the battery charges in about an hour. I haven't been able to get online while on a call with Apple - or even use the hot spot while on a call. All the apps are pretty much the same and some I like the layout more in Apple. I still use my s3 for audible and podcasts - videos etc- the high battery usage stuff. Maybe Apple is more secure? Oh yeah, The keyboard takes some getting used to as I'm writing this on a Swype on my android. You can get other keyboards for Apple but they all say that whatever you type is transmitted to the maker. Hmm. Just like what I'm using now? Passwords etc? Oh well.Read full review...

Good value but not as it is described.

It arrived quickly to my door, but it is not in a great cosmetic condition, and most of all, the display has a problem, because a center half of the screen is colored with very light purple, but it doesn't bother much to identify objects and letters on the screen, so if you expect it as great one, please think about it again. I don't want to spend my energy/time/money for a return process, because sometime an internet seller is not kind for return, so i just want to keep it and use it as it is.
Update one-week after starting using it : the display problem is not much issue to use this phone right now, if its background is not a white color. But the mute button on the up right side of the phone is malfunctioning and damaged inside. If I shake the phone, I can listen to a sound around the mute button, maybe a part was broken off away from main body inside, and i think the broken part is running around inside, as making sound.Read full review...

Great little phone with lots of smarts, but expensive!

This is my first Smartphone, though my wife has had a Windows phone for several months and I have used it some. The iPhone 5 is a great little smartphone. Actually, this one is black, not white. I have only had it for a week or two and I only got it hooked up to a cellular plan today, so I have limited experience. My biggest problem with the iPhone 5 is the narrowness of the keys on the keyboard. Also, the backspace is right next to the "m" so many times when I want to type "m" I end up deleting the last character typed. Also, the characters on the keyboard don't change from lower- to upper-case when you put the keyboard in shift mode. (Actually, they're always in upper case.) Also, I got a bit spoiled by the standard "Back" button (just to the left of the home button) on the Windows phone. Also, I was surprised that the home button requires physical depression, not just a tap as the Nokia Lumia phones do. Otherwise, I have to say this thing is a little marvel, and I'm enjoying it a lot. I have a Mac with OS X Yosemite and I'm enjoying the close interconnection and interoperation between the iPhone 5 under iOS 8 and the Mac, which is why I bought it despite the fact that it seems that you can get more features for less on most Android machines with similar quality. Good device for people who loves Apple production

Iphone 5 is very convenient cell phone for people who would not waste time to configuration device.
Iphone 5 contains all nessessary features unless wireless charger however I don't think it's very important feature
This device realy simple for everyday use especialy if you like iTunes

Love this phone!

This phone was a replacement from my old iPhone 3. I love everything about this new phone. I especially like the map app that talks me thru EVERY turn perfectly to any unknown destination. The panoramic camera is flat out amazing! I could go on...like talking a text message instead of typing it, but I wouldn't want to comment about ALL the new features! Exactly as described. I can't wait for the new IPhone technology, it just gets better and better. The larger screen makes videos clear and fantastic with HD. It still has its slim and sleek style, unlike the competition (Galaxy SIII) with a large device that can hardly fit in your pocket and lacks the stylish appeal. The processor is fast, signal strength is always strong and my internal 32gb is excellent. What more can you ask for in the leading smart phone. Just to brag I'm leaning on getting another iPhone 5 but this time in black. Excellent phone

Phone has worked very well for the last 2 months. Operates smooth and fast. Not many hiccup except for no cell service (not by the phone). Certainly operates better than all my past Android Phone.
