Great camera, short battery life

This camera takes clear photos, is easy to handle and is fun to use. I plan to mostly use this camera to shoot video while on hiking/backpacking trips. It has great image stabilization, feels great in your hands and I love the fully articulating screen.

My only qualm with this camera is the battery life. I can run the battery down in just one full day after shooting around 100 photos and a short video. Not terrible, but considering that I will be taking it on backpacking trips I will need to buy extra batteries.

All in all though, I really enjoy using it and look forward to capturing more moments, landscapes and memories on hikes and backpacking trips.Read full review...

Impressive!

I just received it recently and started going through the different functions and I am impressed by the high quality images it takes! The real test will be on my diving trip with my underwater housing. I intend on taking macro pictures. High hopes for that. A bit bulky and heavy but that won’t matter underwater. My biggest complaint is it is way to easy for a person to accidentally erase all their pictures on their sim card if you accidentally press format.
