Why spend so much more?
Nothing complicated ... everything fits snugly as intended from the lens adapter to filters. All around good value.

I was excited to receive in time for the 2017 Total Eclipse but once I unboxed and installed on lens I could it's shortcomings. Few threads to adhere to lens. Super flimsy connection between adapters and holder. I had to gaffers tape everything in place so not to break a $400 4x4 filter. This left me with no way to change my filtration.
Yes, I made it work but it should not require this fix.

These are knock-off Cokin products from somewhere on the Pacific Rim. They're likely all made in the same place. That said, Cokin seems to have priced itself into oblivion except for the photo-elite folks with enough money to go after their stuff. I'm not one of those. Works just fine, and is way cheaper then the "other" brand. Save your money by getting this but spend the savings on real glass to use in it. The Zomei filters don't do it for me. I have a couple Lee but took a chance on these filters, they change the colors of your photos in a way I did not like. Great holder but buy better glass.Read full review...

Better than hand holding
I use this with a Tiffen filter. I would rate this holder 5 stars if the construction were of metal or at least sturdier than the plastic frame it has. Having said that it works just fine and the 77mm ring is metal. For longer exposures it sure beats hand holding the filter.Read full review...
